Top 100 Children’s Book List

I love a good list and I especially love a good book list.  I’m always introduced to new things to read and when I spied this list of the Top 100 Children’s Books of All-time I was left very inspired.  As with any list it’s subjective but this one immediately struck me as a quality list.

We have a lot of children’s books but of the top 10, we only have four of them so there is much work for us to do.

Here are the top 10:

Certainly an apt list given the passing of the wondrous Maurice Sendak this week.  We love that book and have been reading it to Bebito since he was a teeny tiny bubba not even able to sit.

Are you a book list fan? What’s your favourite children’s book?  At the moment Bebito is super keen on:

Much love,

Yes, I love Children's books but they are so hard to gauge at times. Popps really hated Guess how much I love you, we were given two copies when she was born, one I gave away to someone else when she was three as it had never been read. Now Immy wants it read to her over and over and talks about it all the time. The LadyBug Girl books are also her favourites and even though Popps now has the ability to read chapter books she always picks picture books from the library as they are so much more fun.

I love children's books! I have many that I kept from my childhood, like a whole box. My favourite children's book is Greetings from Sandy Beach by Bob Graham. It's such a lovely fun story. I was so thrilled when I realized that my goddaughter loved the book too! It's very Australian, but very relatable.
